EU-Morocco institutional twinning project launched

In the context of identifying new areas of mutual cooperation and developing close relationships with Europe, the Moroccan Office of Industrial and Commercial Property (OMPIC) launched on June 14, 2011 a project funded by the European Union (EU), according to Margreb Arabe Press.
This project enters into the Institutional Twinning Project “EU-Morocco” and brings cooperation between the National Industrial Property Institute (France), Portuguese Institute of Industrial Property and Moroccan Office of Industrial and Commercial Property (OMPIC).
This Twinning project has the objective to strengthen the practice, the operational capacities and the conformity of the Moroccan Office of Industrial Property and Commerce with the international standards in terms of Industrial Property, and to allow to OMPIC to carry out the practice of Industrial Property in Morocco in conformity with development and innovation.
In this context, training seminars will be held for the OMPIC members and its partners in order to benefit from the experience of French and Portuguese counterparts.
